Wine of the Month

Nervi Gattinara 2013

Nervi is one of Gattinaras oldest vineyards. It was established here in the beginning of the 1900`s. Produced from 100% Nebbiolo Grapes.

Wines from Gattinara are very different from their bigger brother and sister Barolo and Barbaresco. They are fresher in style and even slimmer. Nervi produces some excellent wines from a cooler and more unknown corner of Piemonte.

It was bought up by the Norwegians Erling Astrup and his co investor Christopher Moestue in 2011 with a vision to revive the Nebbiolo wines from Gattinara.
