Stella Bella Chardonnay 2016

The Stella Bella winery is located Southwest in the Western Australia Zone in an area called Margaret River. In recent years Margaret River has become world know for the production of ekspressive quality wines.

Stella Bella was established in 1996 by Stuart Pym and Janice McDonald. They decided to make wines that could compete against some of the very best wines Australia had to offer. The Stella Bella design and label was designed with the flavours and colours of a wine in mind. Stella Bella means beautiful star in Italian.

Stella Bella Winery

Their first vintage of the Stella Bella Chardonnay was released in 2001. The 2008 vintage received very good reviews globally and has won several awards both locally and globally after that.

The wine is now made by the hands of their senior winemaker Luke Joliffe, with focus on the Chardonnay grapes expressiveness of terroir and use of French oak, the wine is elegant, yet complex and mineral driven.

Fresh and complex on the nose with aromas of yellow apples, lime zest and nectarines with a hint of vanilla and hazelnuts. A well balanced wine with a great flavour intensity and a long finish.
